Bold black and fiery red combine for a statement sneaker in true retro style. The upper of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low BG Alternate 90 is crafted from deep black nubuck which runs along the entirety of the upper broken by a perforated rubber panelling in the centre. The extra-large eyestays are also shown in black rubber connecting to deep black laces and complete with a clear lace toggle at the top. The tongue switches to a muted grey leather with a red fabric border for the collar. The red shading returns at the bottom of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low BG Alternate 90 sneaker with a speckled red shark-tooth design on the side front while the red and black rubber outer sole is built for lasting comfort as well as style.
